My Bliss
there is no better
way,
but this---
i learned to be a
child
to know your needs,
your agonies---
i learned life once
more
from the beginning
to gain the wisdom
of nature,
protecting saplings
from storms and
wilderness;
egoless, subtle
nurturing, absolute bliss!

ReplyDeleteThis is so true. The photo is gorgeous and the truth of the poem--if only we could retrieve the heart of a child, the world would be so much more full of hope.
ReplyDeleteAh... Those were truly the days.
ReplyDeleteYes, Parenting and egos just don't co-exist. Cute children.
