Homecoming

Google Image

red bulls and wet cats
behind every step
around the globe;
you are vulnerable;
anybody, anytime
anything can provoke you
turn you into a red bull
put you off into a wet cat;
you are vulnerable,
you are fragile;

so where am i home?
where am i comfortable?
where is my sanctuary?

behind the walls of your eyes
beneath the hard bones of your body
there lies the cosmos

wise men say
you are home inside you

red bulls and wet cats
behind every step
around the globe;
you are vulnerable

wise men say---
there is a guard inside you
only if you can look inside;
there is a saint inside you
only if you can look inside,
who can make you smile
anywhere, anytime
around the globe

wise men say
you are home inside you

  7. Like Toni, I enjoyed the repetition you used. The need for a constant reminder of one's strength.
